ON THE OUTSIDE
Appearance: Lamonica loves to change her hair color, but its been blond for the past couple years. Her hair is one of things she likes the most on her body. Keeping her hair in perfect condition is something that Lamonica loves to do. Not a split end will be found on her head of light blond hair that falls down to a little below her shoulders.
When walking into a room one of the first few things people notice about Lamonica are her eyes, which are a light shade of blue. They appear to just see through people and to hide all emotions.
Her skin never gets to that deep tan that everyone else seems to obtain. Even when spending the entire summer outdoors, her skin never gets past the healthy summer glow. She may not tan easily, but she sunburns like no other. It's not unusual for her to look like a lobster during the summer.
Make-up is something she loves to do.She always wears eyeliner no matter what. Sometimes she wears a lot of it and sometimes she just outlines her eyes in it. She loves to wear mascara, to thicken her lashes and so her eyes show up, even more then they already do.
Lamonica has both her ears pierced twice. She has a bellybutton ring and tongue ring. She loves to wear jewelry, its just one of those things. She really just pierced her tongue because she was out shopping one day and she saw a tongue ring and thought it looked cool, so next thing you know she has one.

ON THE INSIDE
Personality:Lamonica is one of the sweetest girls you'll ever meet, but only if she likes you. She's actually a very laid back person, and gets along with most everyone. If you get on her bad side though, she can be one of the bitchiest people you'll ever meet.
Lamonica really doesn't like to talk about herself, and she usually puts up a front, to keep people away from her. It usually seems to be enough and when people actually keep trying to get to know her, it surprises her so much she just lets them get close to her. She really doesn't like it when people get closer to her, because then they have the power to destroy her.
When someone gets on Lamonica's bad side she can be a totally bitch, and when she says shit, she can back it up. Also when she doesn't like some one best believe they know. She doesn't do all that fake friendship shit. She personally thinks its a waist of time. Why take time and pretend to be someone's friend and then back-stab them, when you could just get it out that you don't like them and then see what happens from there?
Lamonica has a very sarcastic sense of humor. Well actually shes just sarcastic about everything. Sometimes people actually think shes being serious when she's actually being a sarcastic bitch.
But maybe you should just take the time and get to know this girl. Who knows maybe you'll have a new best friend, or maybe you'll have a new enemy. But if you do get to know her, you'll see shes just a sweet girl with a troubled past, which effects how she acts now.

IN THE PAST
History:Lamonica grew up in a rich family But her parents weren't home or were arguing. Very loudly. Lamonica is very close to her little sister,Kat. Considering that when Kat was born, Lamonica had always been the one to take care of her. Play with the sister, change her, feed her, put her to bed, wake up and put her back to sleep in the middle of the night. The whole deal. She tried to make her sister as much of a happy child as possible, unlike herself.
Who only had the maids as her friends before she started going to school and well maids aren't really the best of friends and well they can't really protect you from the horrors of life. Like when she saw her uncle die, right in front of her. Or how about when her father came home drunk hmm?Yes while maids may be able to serve you and help you they can't actually protect you from the horrors of life and well when your parents were never around, they couldn't either.
At one time, she didn't even have the maids around, before her little sister was born. Somehow her family had gone bankrupt for five years. They had been thrown out of their house and had no where else to go.
Her parents had left her to fend for herself. They had gone to live with family, who only had room for them. While her parents then regained the money that had been lost in about two years, it had taken another five to find her. When she finally had come back home, she had changed a lot. When she came home she found a little baby, her sister. That was when she decide she would always be the one to care for her.
During the years she lived on the streets she got involved with a dangerous guy. At first it had just seemed like a fun time, that was until he started abusing her mentally and physically. When she finally did get home, she still was in that relationship, and developed a eating disorder, because of how he was always calling her fat, and all she wanted to do was be perfect for him and make him happy.
He was the one who got her started on drugs has well. He had given her a way to escape him and herself and her family later on. This was the feeling she came to crave, the numb feeling it left her with. Her parents meanwhile just kept going away on business trips, sometimes taking her little sister with them and sometimes leaving her sister with her, they never noticed that she had changed at all or if they did, they didn't care.
At least thats what she thought at first. But then one day her mother had started to notice that she almost always wore long sleeves and when she didn't she made sure that her parents would never see her arms. That day her mother had forced her to wear a dress, and what she saw had terrified her. There were bruises all over, and then there were cuts on her arm.
Her parents weren't sure what to do, so they just deiced to let it go and hope everything got better. Then about a month later, her father had come home and found his daughter laying on the floor, with blood seeping down her arms, and an empty pill bottle laying next to her. That was when they deiced something had to be done. They had gotten her to the hospital, where her stomach was pumped and her bleeding was stop.
It took her a few days to wake up but when she did, what a waited her was not to her liking. The doctors didn't want it to happen again, they had noticed that she was underweight has well has some ribs were showing, so they had told her parents that the best thing for her was this asylum. Now even though they didn't want their daughter to go there, they knew they had no choice, so they agreed.
Relationships with Parents: Her parents and her really don't get along anymore, maybe at one time they did, but when they just left her to fend for herself for five years, that changed everything. When they finally did become reunited the hate Lamonica had for them was apparent.
Relationships with siblings: Lamonica loves her sister, and would do anything to keep her safe, so she would never have to go through everything she had to.
BACK TO THE PRESENT
Role play Sample:
Sample RP:A figure stood in the door-way of the barn, leaning slightly against the door frame. Her emerald green eyes scanned the area briefly around her before going back to the empty houses in front of her.
The girl ran a hand wearily through her fiery-red hair, that had faint blond streaks in it. It was a little more than shoulder-length, and her bangs were feathered back, out of her eyes but still providing a curtain that she felt safe behind. She was dressed in faded blue jeans that fit her, amazing as that was providing where they were at the moment [In a barn, on a farm in Montana!]. She had a light-black top that help her blend in slightly with the darkness that surrounded them on this nice, sweet summer night.
Her arms were slightly tanned at her shoulders, but from her elbows down, her skin was light from wearing those tops that the Ell eras' usually wore [The arms were cut in half, covering her lower arms and showing most of her shoulder]. Other than her arms, her complexion was light-ish, not really tanned. Lots of time in the night, few minutes in the sun-filled sky at the daytime.
"Where the green grass grows, you can see me lyin' in the
fields,
Six cars, tail lights,
Ants movin' into the night.
My heart belongs at home,
And away from home, I'm one lost, lonely soul"
The lyric from her favorite song filled through her head like a sweet melody, the song she always used to listen to when she was happy or sad. Now, ironically, she knew that the song applied to her. Away from home, lost and lonely, even though she traveled with the other ones who escaped. Actually, it wasn't even an escape, it was a walk-out.
Grown and born in Ellsworth, Texas, she had a faint Texan accent. She was raised with her brothers, and her twin, Ripley. Those days were filled with ridin' in the grassy fields, playing in the creek and swimming in the ditch every once and awhile. Until the New Days came, she was happy and perfectly care-free. And then, when the New Days came, she was in the middle of a decision, live or die. She chose to walk with the others, but now she was starting to regret it.
Monnie O'Hardpick sighed softly, brushing the hair off of her shoulders and turning slowly to the fire, where six other teenagers sat. Two other girls, and four boys. If Dara had met boys more arrogant than them, she had forgotten. She was trapped with them now, like a wolf in the middle of a surrounding pack. She watched the fire dance peacefully, the orange-and-red flames reaching up to touch the sky.'Fire Dancing' the words floated through her mind peacefully, like a trance.
Monnie walked over to the fire, resigned and tired, and fell down into the grass. Outside in the dark, she could stay here for hours.
"I'm going to live where the green grass grows,
Watch my corn pop up in rows,
Sing to the ol' country songs,
Grow up where the Good Lord blessed,
Point our rocking chairs toward the West."
Sighing softly, she let herself drift. She let her tense muscles loosen ever so lightly, and then she dozed, with the country song stuck in her head comfortably, repeating the lyrics over and over. Maybe, just maybe, they could live through the New Days.
The magic phrase:In a world as big as this it's not hard to feel alone...
